Why name it Oculus? It’s a feast for the eyes.

To date, this project has been one the most satisfying. I managed to build something I believe to be visually original. This project challenged me as I grappled with carving and sculpting wood using an assortment of new and old tools, leading me to discover several techniques to match the vision I had and achieve a satisfactory outcome. This project ultimately exceeded all of my expectations. It represents a critical moment in my designs and has been highly influential on the pieces that followed.
