Studio-V exists as a platform to challenge the perceived design limitations of furniture and other objects. It depicts creative exploration and simultaneously challenges a myriad of ideas that arise in making objects that best represent the vision of the mind’s eye.

A growing awareness of the importance of the unique human quality of creativity is one of the reasons that I compel myself to make the most of the opportunity of existence.

Over time, I have come to appreciate the efforts and uncompromising attention to detail that have gone into objects from the past, objects that are with us today, not only because of the material used but also because of the continuous effect that these artefacts have on observers: objects that tell a the story of the person, the period and the development of the craft behind them.

Hand-made objects serve as a document encoded with the human life that designed and made them. They are creativity made manifest.

This is my attempt to honour the human experience through the pursuit of creativity.
